Overview
PixAI Studio is designed as a desktop photo editor. Local editing features process images on your Mac. Network AI features may upload the selected image or image data to PixAI Studio servers and trusted AI providers only for the requested processing task.
Image Processing
When you use local editing, beauty, makeup, collage, batch, text, watermark, or export tools, processing is performed locally unless the feature clearly requires an online AI service.
When you use online AI features, the app may send image data, request metadata, device or account identifiers, and feature usage information to our server so the task can be processed, accounted for, and returned to your app.
Data We May Collect
- Account and purchase information needed for credits, membership, or support.
- AI usage records such as feature type, request time, task status, processing duration, and provider log identifiers.
- Images or image URLs submitted to online AI tools for processing.
- Technical diagnostics that help investigate errors and improve reliability.
How Data Is Used
We use data to provide editing and AI features, maintain credit accounting, prevent misuse, debug failures, improve product reliability, and respond to support requests.
Storage and Retention
Local project and image data stays on your device unless you choose an online feature or export/share action. Server-side AI task data is retained only as long as needed for delivery, accounting, security, and operational troubleshooting.
Third-Party Providers
Online AI features may use third-party AI providers, cloud servers, object storage, and payment providers. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the requested service.
